OK: Not only do you know you're a geek when you find yourself having these kinds of exchanges; you know you're extra special geeky when you find them downright hilarious.

X: Hey, nice chicken sandwich. You know what Adorno would say about it? He'd say it serves the culture industry and is without liberatory potential!

Y: I'm sure the chicken would agree that it's without liberatory potential. Unless becoming a sandwich counts as transcendence.

X: Mmmmm... Transcendental chicken sandwich...
